Use 4-Part Quote Sandwich– Embed your quotes and paraphrases into a 4-part quote sandwich: lead up to the quote/paraphrase, share the quote/paraphrase, add an MLA in-text citation in parenthesis after your quote/paraphrase, and write a sentence or two to explain how the quote/paraphrase supports your point in that paragraph. 4-Part Quote Sandwiches. pptx. file attached                                                                  Integrating Quotations into Sentences by IVCC  https://facultyweb.ivcc.edu/rrambo/eng1001/quotes.htm

Add a corresponding MLA entry on your Works Cited page that corresponds to your in-text citations.   Remember that when you find an article or ebook that you want to quote in a database, you may click on the database “cite” button, select MLA, and copy and paste your Works Cited page entry onto your Works Cited page document.
