The Final Report is a 5 to 6 page research paper on a disability of your choosing. It can be a topic we have covered in class or a disability not covered in class but of special interest to you.
The Final Report is a paper based on a specific disability
of your choosing. The format is as follows:
1. Name of Disability/Disorder
2. Description of Disability/Disorder
3. Known/Suspected Cause(s)/Etiology of the
Disability/Disorder
4. Common Characteristics/Presentation Features of
the Disability/Disorder
5. Professionally accepted assessment practices in identifying and diagnosing the disability/disorder.
6. A short biography of a known individual with the
disability/disorder (maintaining anonymity if it a
personal acquaintance or non-public figure)
6. Recommended Treatment Protocols/Interventions
7. A list of community resources that assist the identified individual and 3 team members working with the individual, including roles of the team members and community professionals.
8. Concluding Summation
9. Works Cited/Bibliography (5 or more sources)

This paper is worth a total of 190 points/40% of your Final Grade.
