Description
Henri Fayol (1916) was the first to codify the management process producing a five function process: planning; organising; giving orders; co-ordination; and, control. That process was subsequently reduced to three: planning, implementation, and control. The adoption of this management process is widely attributed to organisational success. Using examples, discuss how the adoption of the management process contributes to organisational performance.
