Assignment Task
This is the Resit Assignment brief for those students that received 39% or below as a grade in
the second attempt.
This document is intended for Coventry University Group students for their own use in completing their
assessed work for this module. It must not be passed to third parties or posted on any website. Page 2 of 6
The resit should be a rework of your first assessment based upon the feedback you have received. In
addition to improving your previous submission, you are also required to write a 300-word reflective
account in which you discuss how you have taken into account the feedback on your first submission
to amend your work, and how it now meets the Learning Outcomes.
This assignment is an individual assignment requiring you to produce an infographic that
demonstrates how your own entrepreneurial mindset and background relates to your choice of social,
economic or environmental challenge.
An infographic is an popular medium for delivering important and often complex messages through
the use of images, data representation and text. The infographic will represent a complete story that
can be understood by the audience.
A challenge is a problem that someone comes across that requires great effort and determination to
overcome. A challenge may present itself in different ways and a person will need to come up with
new and innovative ways to overcome it or to make it better.
The word count should be approximately 750 words.
You need to create an A3 size infographic. The PDF file needs to be submitted through Turnitin on, or
before, the day of submission.
On the left hand side of your infographic please tell us who you are, this should include a
representation of two entrepreneurial personality profiles that you have engaged with during
the module.
On the right-hand side of your infographic please set out, using data and a minimum of 3
images, your identified social, economic or environmental challenge.
Please note:
The photos that you include in your infographic need to either be original or from a copyright free
source and be representative of the challenges that you identify in your local area. Please do not
include images of people in your original images.
Submission Instructions:
Infographic should be submitted in PDF format through Turnitin by 18:00 UK Time on 02/04/2024
Development of Skills and Attributes:
The module enables students to engage in Guided learning experiences outside of the classroom
where students work in diverse teams to explore their local community and identify social, economic,
or environmental challenges. In this way, students can adapt their approach depending on people,
environment and situation and develop their skills on self-reflection, dealing with uncertainty and build
their resilience. In identifying social, economic, or environmental challenges through observations and
through being open to new ways of thinking, students will develop their ability to think creatively
through embracing their entrepreneurial spirit to lead and drive positive change in their communities
thus learning how to act with integrity. Through peer reviewing each other’s enterprising traits and
entrepreneurial competencies, students will also begin to understand how to communicate
effectively using empathy and begin to develop an awareness of different cultures and how they can
respect diverse views and build trust and rapport among their peers. By engaging constructively in the
weekly activities and providing the required outputs, the students evidence how they get things done
