• Breadth and Integration: Explain how certain courses in the degree link with, support, and/or enhance one another (e.g., Do some pieces of the general learning relate to and enhance studies in the concentration?)
• Progression: If you are designing a bachelor’s degree, explain how your degree plan progresses from introductory courses to more advanced study. What foundation knowledge have you acquired, or will acquire, that comprises the building blocks for your advanced-level courses?
• Conclusion: Add a concluding paragraph(s) to your rationale essay, to tie the pieces together.
