Whites won’t allow any threat in their society, so they won’t allow any blacks to organize themselves.  In the long-term of white oppress, blacks decide to revolt the white privilege. This is how black power started. Black power was a revolutionary movement that occurred between 1960s  and 1970s. It emphasized the racial pride, economic empowerment, and the creation of political and cultural institutions. For example, The black panther party was the political organization founded by Bobby Seale and Huey Newton.  The party’s purpose was protected the African resident s from acts of police brutality.  Black American are not the only group who fought for equal rights in America.
