The essay will require you to critically analyse at least two articles from your specific pathway. You will need to reflect critically on the importance of the research, the different approaches and methods used, and the relevance of the research to policy and practice.
You will need to:
- critically analyse the intention, key ideas, underlying theoretical and methodological approaches, evidence presented
- demonstrate knowledge of the methods, data collection and analysis used
- critically analyse whether the methods, data collection and analysis are appropriate/suitable
- critically reflect on the links to and impact on policy/practice
- This will demonstrate your achievement against LO1, LO3 and LO4.
The critical analysis essay is 3000 words.
You must ensure that you do not go over the word count as marks may be deducted, which could affect your grade for the module.
