Basic Assignment: Write an essay that reflects your interest through focusing your ideas on one of the readings of our class. You have to create a process in which you use literary analysis that creates an atmosphere of critical thinking, where you analyze and break down your points into smaller parts. Critical thinking engages creative thinking, innovation inquiry, analysis, evaluation, and synthesis of information.

Requirements: You are expected to write an essay that:

Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the topic,

Presents an original, compelling argument,

Thoughtfully analyzes the text’s formal elements,

Uses appropriate and insightful examples,

Structures ideas in a logical and progressive order,

Demonstrates a mastery of sentence construction, transition, grammar, spelling, and word choice
