Write a 500-words (2 pages and more) essay about a specific aspect of materialism (e.g., excessive consumerism in our current culture) in American culture today from the second-person point of view, the humbling lens: “you.”
Use at least one timely and reliable source (e.g., online academic journals or the journals) to substantiate your message. Simply because you are using the second person POV, it does mean that your essay cannot be serious work with academic and social significance.
