Description
Many employers require new employees to enter into an employment contract that includes a covenant not to compete. Covenants not to compete are valuable restrictions for the employer to protect their interests, while at the same time, are an obstacle(s) to employees for their future ability to apply their skills, training and talents. You may have entered into such an agreement as an employee and/or may, from an employer perspective, required an employee sign a contract with a covenant not to compete.
