Your response should answer all of the following questions:

1) What is the author’s main argument? (there may be more than one)

2) What specific claims does the author make in support of their argument(s)?

3) To what extent are each of the author’s claims supported by political science research?

4) What is your own, research-based conclusion about the topic of the op-ed?

The paper should be no more than 1700 words and should use APA format for your citations. The paper should include at least six citations in total. At least three of these should be from peer-reviewed, academic journals or books.
