Emotional Labor (and the management of support, consideration of self-care plans, and inclusion of performance evaluations) has been a recent discussion in public safety administration. Parallel to this discussion is how Human Resource Professionals handle the support needed for emergency responders (i.e., how to protect those protecting others). Prepare a brief paper on these topics (minimum of 3 pages of text) that explore issues relating to the topics raised in these articles. Reminders: Synthesis papers should be a minimum of THREE FULL pages of text (typewritten), synthesizing concepts from course readings and other sources and applying them to given situations. Synthesis papers should reflect 12-point font, double-line spacing, and the proper format (APA style) when citing or referencing published materials.
