In this assignment you are being asked to audit your current organizational environment and identify a potentialOrganizational Behavior (OB) related problem. It will be the main assessment and deliverable of this course to author and analyze the impact of the many OB related topics within your industries. In order to accomplish this initial assignment students must accomplish the four points below in their write up:

– Review the overarching subject and concepts of Organizational Behavior, by reviewing the text chapters.
– Critically assess (through the guideline provided below) and analyze their current work environment for potential OB related issues.
– Write a proposed case draft using the attached template as a guideline.
– Submit (for credit) a refined and properly formatted written proposal (as per the guidelines)

Responses Expectations:

Just a note on your initial OB problem write up. As you author and work through the assignment, ask yourself, is this what I’d expect to see from a Professional Master in Business Administration?

Often times we want the degree to carry a lot of weight once we have it yet we forget or “hope” getting it isn’t very difficult. Unfortunately, I believe satisfaction comes from performing well in challenging tasks. I ask that you keep this in mind as I prefer to give high marks but cannot fabricate grades.

There’s something called “attribution error” which states that we take full credit for the positive outcomes in our work/studies, yet blame others or someone else for the negative outcomes.

Important Note:
This proposal will serve as the base of your end off term case analysis where you will be asked to explore and identify 2-3 OB topics from the class that provide insight and possible solutions sets to the problem you’ve identified. The more detailed and well written this initial assignment is, the more likely you are to succeed at the final, end of term, submission.

* I work at a small marketing agency in Miami. Some organizational problems that you could analyze are:

• Communication: Leadership doesn’t effectively communicate information, priorities, expectations or changes within the rest of the organization in a timely manner, or at all.

• Development: There is a lack of opportunities for professional growth, and employees can’t see a clear career path forward. No succession plan exists for current employees, nor onboarding plans for new hires.

– These are just ideas feel free to get creative on “problems” that could be happening at my small marketing agency if you can’t develop a lot on the examples I gave
