This is a DYAD (Group of 2) assignment.
This assignment is due in the week on the date associated with the Report #4 drop box.
TASK
A: Choice of Activity
You (your Dyad) are pursuing one of the following:
- A new venture
- An organizational transformation
- A significant partnership or joint venture
B: Objective:
Create a presentation deck of a minimum of 7 but not more than 10 slides to make your case to your intended audience. Cover and Reference slides are extra.
That case should clearly state the justification and outcomes of your chosen activity.
Your audience will have veto power over your request, so you must deliver your most compelling pitch to win them over based on your presentation of leadership and management capability.
C: Content Structure
The required elements of your presentation are:
- Select topics from THREE separate seminars and state your reason for each choice
- Select ONE different leadership and management attributes from each of your four seminars and explain the value each one adds
- Use these chosen attributes as the cornerstones to build a superior leadership and management profile. You may create performance history associated with them.
- Apply that leadership profile to the organizational choice you made in A.
- Present a powerful case as to how the crafted leadership profile makes you a highly superior candidate to lead the effort.
This leadership profile is assumed to be for either of the writers of the report. Write from a first-person perspective and in a very action-oriented language that immerses you in the leadership and management space that you have created. Avoid writing in hypothetical and third person language unless that is an intentional part of the proposal.
