This final project consists of two parts:
Written Portion: A comprehensive analysis of your approved publicly traded company,
Oral Portion: A Flipgrid summary presentation.
Both parts will contribute to your final grade.
Written Portion:
You have flexibility in formatting your written report. Bullet points OR essay format is
acceptable, but ensure you cover all the required elements listed below.
Required Elements:
Company Background
Briefly introduce your company, including its industry, competitors, products/services, and
target market. Also please discuss any relevant recent events or news that may impact their
financial performance.
Financial Analysis
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s financial health, we can analyze
relevant metrics (ratios) from three key areas: profitability, liquidity, and solvency.
Once you have calculated these ratios using the company’s financial statements, please
organize the results in a table for easier analysis. The table will include the following:

Formula
Calculated Value (Enter the actual number you calculated for chosen company)
Interpretation (Briefly explain what the calculated value suggests about the company’s
financial health in that specific area)
Industry Benchmark (Compare your calculated ratios to industry averages. This helps
assess the company’s performance relative to its competitors.)

Briefly discuss one or two potential future challenges and potential future opportunities the

Briefly summarize your overall assessment of your company’s finances.
