You have inherited a 2000 square foot commercial space in downtown Dubai. You have
the option to turn that space into any of the following. However, as it happens there are
things that need to be considered for each of the situations. You have to make a
planogram (Digital Display) and design a space, keeping the rules of visual
merchandising in mind.
Retail Space Options:
A coffee shop- you have to promote 2 key best sellers and also highlight a drink of the
season of your choice. Keep in mind that a coffee shop needs to have as many tables as
possible and at the same time cater to the takeaways.
A watch store- you have to promote two key brands that need separate spaces. (cannot
be next to each other). Keep in mind that they are expensive, hence security is of
concern.
A toy store – have to display the brands that you keep (Lego or Fisher Price) have to have
a small play area
A sports goods store- You can choose which sports. Keep in mind that there are
high-selling items and impulse-purchase items
