Your Task

in the context of organisational change.
Assessment Description
This is an individual assessment.
Based on the notion of innovation and change being the key to business success, the first four (4) weeks of this
subject discusses the types of change and innovation in terms of the scope and pace of change, along with various
models and frameworks which help to explain these changes. This assessment requires students to apply these
concepts to analyse and discuss one (1) business innovation which is to be chosen from a given list of recent
successfully commercialised innovative ideas. (see instructions which follow).
Along with developing research, analytical and presentation skills, this assessment specifically aligns with the
following subject learning outcomes:
LO1: Analyse the models and frameworks that guide the principles of effectively leading change and
innovation in organisations.
LO2: Evaluate organisational structures in an international context in relation to ethically managing innovation
across borders.
LO3: Evaluate the risks inherent in the change management process, the reasons why
change fails and how these can be overcome.
